Circulation Services

Interlibrary Loan

Patrons looking for a specific item not available in the collection can make an interlibrary loan request to other libraries in the area; As such, patrons can access collections at area libraries and may access materials from libraries outside the region.

Internet Service

Internet access computers are available to patrons. Library staff's availability to help users with basic computer use or Internet access is limited. Users must have basic computer skills, including the ability to use a mouse and to access menu items; A trained and courteous staff provides general assistance in using the internet.

Copy & Fax

The library is equipped with a fax machine if a patron would need to send or receive faxes And it also has a copy machine able to print one-sided, two-sided, letter or legal sized documents.

Youth and Teen Services

Our collections include books, audios, videos and magazines for children of all ages. Storytimes for toddlers and pre-schoolers are held throughout the year, and the Summer Reading Program provides activities, crafts, story hours and more. Stop by and check it out!

Reference Assistance

All library staff members are pleased to be able to help patrons, whether you're looking for reading suggestions, have a specific question, need help with the internet, or are looking for community information. If we don't have an answer, we can help you find other resources. Ask a librarian!

Outreach Activities

Did you know your library works in cooperation with lots of other community organizations to provide a wonderful variety of programs and services? We offer: story hours and 'library tours' to schools and day care; audiobooks through inter-library loan as well as from our own collection; the Summer Reading Program, which includes craft activities, games and giveways to encourage reading and lifelong learning ... all this, and more in the works!


The Library serves the informational, professional, educational and recreational needs of Roxana's residents. The Roxana Public Library's building of 8,000 square feet houses more than 20,000 books, ranging from current best-sellers to the latest in popular psychology, history and medicine, as well as more than 40 magazines and newsletters. The Library subscribes to online databases for business, health, , genealogy, encyclopedias, literature, and magazine/newspaper articles on general, business, and health topics. All of these databases are available at public access computers in the Library, and the majority are also available to Roxana Public Library cardholders through remote access at home, work, school, or anywhere Internet access is available. In addition to books, Library patrons also may borrow magazines, videos/DVDs, audiobooks, and compact discs.
